ABOUT US + MARKET

About Us
GENKIDESU MOBILE GAMING HUB is Africa’s first-ever mobile gaming experience — a 33-seater bus transformed into a rolling esports arena. Our mission is to make world-class gaming accessible, affordable, and unforgettable for youth and communities. We are solving the challenge of limited access to modern gaming in Kenya and across Africa, where consoles are prohibitively expensive and lounges are concentrated only in major cities. GENKIDESU brings gaming directly to schools, estates, and events, making it affordable, accessible, and community-driven.
Mission:
“To create Africa’s most exciting mobile gaming hub — uniting people through play, creativity, and competition while opening opportunities for the youth in esports and digital entertainment.”
Vision:
To grow from one gaming bus in Nairobi into a fleet across Kenya and East Africa, building a brand strong enough to host international esports tournaments and inspire Africa’s gaming future.
Founder’s Note:
I’m Vincent Luvega Lumiti — inspired by the Dragon Ball Super spirit: “When you lose, you become stronger. There are no regrets, no limits.” GENKIDESU is built on resilience, growth, and community.
Why Now (Market & Impact)
-Africa’s gaming market is booming, projected to surpass USD 1B+.
-70% of Africa’s population is under 30 — a gaming-ready demographic.
-GENKIDESU closes the gap by bringing premium esports directly to communities.
The Problem--Gaming is one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide, yet in Kenya, access is limited.
--Consoles like the PS5 are too expensive for most households.
--Gaming lounges are scarce and mostly located in major cities.
--Young people lack safe, affordable, and inclusive entertainment spaces.
--Africa is missing out on the global esports opportunity, valued at over $1B annually.
Our Solution--A mobile esports hub built inside a refurbished 33-seater bus.
--Fully equipped with modern consoles (PS5, PS4, VR), monitors, and fast internet.
--Travels directly to schools, estates, colleges, and events.
--Affordable pay-per-play model: starting from as little as Ksh. 100.
--Engages youth through community tournaments, branded events, and esports leagues.
Impact & Opportunity--Direct job creation– drivers, attendants, event staff.
--Indirect opportunities – suppliers, event partners, local food vendors.
--Youth empowerment– esports careers, digital literacy, safe social spaces.
--Esports growth in Africa – positioning Kenya as a pioneer in this fast-growing global industry.
--Brand visibility – partners gain direct access to a passionate youth audience across urban and peri-urban communities.
